Sinuous Pencil Scarf
The Sinuous Pencil Scarf is neckwear designed to look like a pencil. It is a perfect gift for teachers, artists, or anyone who wants an interesting piece of apparel. The design offers five sizes in two widths to fit everyone from babies to adults. While the barrel of the pencil is great tv-watching knitting, the ends, the five colors, and the five stitch patterns will keep your interest. This scarf has a smooth, slip-stitch edging and lots of warm, squishy ribbing. This pattern was accepted into the Knit Picks Independent Designers program and can be found at Knit Picks or on Ravelry. |
Slippy Hats - Slip and Slide Hat, Slip and Twist Hat, Slip and Dot Hat
The Slippy Hats use slip-stitch patterns to create a lovely, textured hats. By using slip stitches to create color patterns, you can knit a multi-colored hat without the hassle of using more than one color per round.
Play with the colors! This hat looks beautiful in 1 color (lots of texture), 2 colors (great for sports fans), or many colors (for the rainbow lover in your life).
Great for yarn scraps! Each contrast color stripe only requires 4 yards of yarn, so you can knit a hat without a trip to the store.
BOTH charted AND written instructions – multiple sizes available! I’ve even written notes for how to adjust sizing to make the perfect fit.
This hat looks hard but isn’t! The pattern is easy to memorize. Just follow the pattern and impress your knitting and non-knitting friends.
